Physical abilities: Walking, climbing, getting into everything! Strong little guy who can hold himself on the wall in the pool. Loves to do somersaults.
Speech/language: Lots of babbling and strings of babbling that sound like sentences. Says mama and dada, but no other words. He understands what we say and if we ask him to go get something (like a book), he will and bring it back to us.
Reading/pre-reading: Loves books! He is constantly bringing books to us and gets angry if we don't read them fast enough.
Number stuff: He's beginning to get the hang of "counting." He has a favorite book where you are supposed to count the animals and he will grab our fingers to help us count them.
Other cognitive stuff: Getting really good with puzzles- if you show him the puzzle piece and where it goes, he can put in back in its place.
Eating: Still a melon boy! Loves watermelon, cantaloupe, and honey dew melons. Still doesn't like meat, specifically beef. He'll pick around it.
Sleeping: Awesome sleeper! Great napper and night time sleeper. Teething bothers him a little bit, but a few minutes of cuddles and he's back asleep.
Social: Had some shy moments were he didn't want anyone but Mom or Dad. Did NOT like when I would hold his new baby cousin!
Character/personality: Been finding himself hysterical lately. He'll do something and just laugh so loudly at himself LOL

Physical abilities: Cruising, walking while holding onto our hands, can walk holding just one of our hands. Still not standing on his own. Loves the pool and is a little fish kicking around the entire pool.
Speech/language: Lots of babbling and strings of babbling that sound like sentences. Says mama and dada, kitty, thank you (only after you give him a cracker, but so darn cute!), and shoe.
Reading/pre-reading: Likes to look at pictures in books and turn the pages. He'll snuggle up for a minute or two to read before moving on to something else.
Number stuff: Starting to get the hang of counting- he'll point to two pictures in a row, but stops after that.
Other cognitive stuff: Loves shape sorters and stacking rings! Works really hard to get the different shapes into the correct holes.
Eating: Going through a picky stage. If he doesn't want to eat something, he uses his hands to throw it all off of his tray. Loves pancakes!
Sleeping: Great napper, but still struggles with nighttime sleep. We're having to get tough with him at night since he doesn't want to co-sleep, but doesn't want sleep in his crib. He thinks 4am is a great time to play!
Social: Still my flirt and loves to smile at everyone! Slowly getting the hang of waving "hi" and "bye." He'll actually wave at the person instead of waiting until after the person leaves.
Character/personality: Constantly on the go crawling/cruising from place to place. But loves to slow down and take a few minutes to snuggle with his mama on the couch. Love those snuggles!
